A traumatic event creates a rift in the family's everyday life. Their lives change fundamentally, as if they are waging a war that is invisible to everyone else. The source of the story is autobiographical, it is addressed in the film and highlighted by the fact that the author/director plays himself. Set largely in the administrative offices and high-rise apartments of Zagreb and Split, the film shows the fraught interactions between two adult brothers (Damir and Bruno, the latter played by Lerotić) and their mother, beginning from a moment of crisis: Damir's suicide attempt.
"Writer, director and actor Juraj Lerotić uses a heartbreaking personal experience as the starting point for this moving debut, orchestrated with a sure-footed hand. (Guy Lodge, Variety)
